So many of us are constantly searching for new, and the next item for our garden, our yard, our homes. This is time for reflection in all of those spaces. We start pulling in plants for the winter, getting things ready for Holiday presentation of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Begin looking at ways to repurpose your plants, for location.
Does it make sense to move the same plants inside and outside year after year, or can it become a permanent houseplant.
Will your ferns survive outdoors year round, with some added mulch to protect them for winter instead of the in and out of the cold.
Alocasia Cuprea, Silver Dragon, & Mint Variegated Black Velvet
Calathea Beauty Star, Freddy, Rosey, Crimson
Staghorns Dutch (Netherlands, French (lemoine), Bifurcatum
Monstera White Monster
We have finished our Winter prep, and have begun preparing for Spring. Preparing for Spring includes improving our outdoor spaces by adding seating, improving walkways, more signage.
Adding Seating means just that, we will have bench and outdoor seating areas with your yard in mind. We want to you to 'feel' what it will be like to have these plants and areas in your yard.
Improving Walkways includes wider aisles in our greenhouses. Firmer and more level outdoor aisles.
More Signage will be make it easier for locating plants, whether you are looking for roses or shade plants. We are working to have more clear visuals to assist you in finding your next plant(s).
As we wrap up the 2025 year, we want to thank everyone for their support, encouragement, and plant talks with myself and our ever growing staff. We have successfully employed seven team members this year. While one went to college (we miss you Chase) and three are getting through their Junior year in high school. The opportunity for us to work with the next generation of young adults is wild!
When we launched this retail project 5 years ago, I honestly didn't know it could become to what you see today. We still have room for improvement and growth (not just for the plants) but for ourselves.
Everyday we get to jump into a new adventure with you as a homeowner/customer buying your first vegetable plant or us fighting a never ending battle of bugs and weeds.
We make a fantastic go at it!
Looking forward to a GREAT 2026
